MailtoThe mailto script is a simple script that allows you to have a link to your email address on your website and reduce the chance of a 'email harvesting' program from grabing it for spamming you. To call the script you simply link to it and include your email address backwards and replacing the @ with a *, ie to email us the link would be <a href=mailto.cgi?moc.u4stpircsigc*selas>.Installation of the script is simple, upload it to your server where cgi scripts can be executed. You will then just need to change the domains listed in the @referers array to include the domains that you are allowing access to the script. Thats it!! The script when called opens the users email client ready to send you an email.
